To add new folders to the Partner Portal that will require a new user role (i.e. a new Private Label customer folder),  it is important to complete the following steps in order: Create User Role, Create User, Add Category/Folder to WP File Download section.

  1. Go to Users > Add New Role
  2. Enter name/title for role (ex. v1 or PL West Elm – this will not be displayed anywhere)
  3. Click “Add Role” button

  1. Go to Users > Add New
  2. Enter Required Information
  3. If the user is a customer, you must select “Partner” as one of their User Roles as well as any other roles that they require.
  4. Click “Add New User” button

  1. Go to WP File Download
  2. Click “New Category” button
  3. Scroll to bottom and update new category/folder name
  4. Drag the new category/folder into place (be sure it aligns with other folders under the “Price Lists” master folder)
  5. Update Parameters on right : Theme = Table
  6. Select Private from the Visibility drop down menu
  7. Check the boxes beside the User Roles that are allowed to access the new category/folder (ALWAYS check Administrator)
  8. Scorll down and click “Save” button
