It is our pledge and commitment to manufacture our upholstery from the most sustainable materials available. Wood used for our frames is kiln-dried from managed and sustainable forests; our glues are non-toxic, and our coils are derived from post-consumer recycled metals.
From our color ways Belgian Linen® line, fabrics offered in Oyster, Flax, Natural, and Oatmeal are eco-friendly – meaning they are not dyed and are woven from minimally processed yarns. Our leading Belgian Linen supply mill has been operating carbon neutral in Flanders, Belgium since 2013.
Even our packaging products are made from recycled materials.
BUILT TO LAST
8-way hand tied coil springs are the mark of quality seating in the upholstery industry, and one of the defining qualities of the Verellen collection – even suspension creates unparalleled durability and comfort. In fact, Verellen is known for “sitting in, and not sitting on.”
Verellen frames are always “four-way connected” – meaning they are doweled, glued, stapled, and screwed – this time honored process is an industry standard in high-end upholstery and guarantees the most stable frame construction.
